Cameron Pedersen (born 17 March 1987) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was drafted with the 17th selection in the 2011 Rookie Draft by the North Melbourne Football Club from the Box Hill Hawks in the Victorian Football League. He was elevated to the senior list prior to the start of the 2011 AFL season when Ayden Kennedy was placed on the long-term injury list.〔(Pedersen fast-tracked )〕 He was then selected to make his AFL debut in the opening round of the season against , after Todd Goldstein was a late withdrawal. He collected 20 disposals. He earned a lot of praise because he had to play as an undersized ruckman in that game.〔(Debutants, young and old, look at home in the AFL )〕 In his second AFL match against the Geelong Football Club at Skilled Stadium he collected 10 disposals.
